Staying fit and healthy as a youth isn't easy, there's homework, school and extracurricular activities. So, how do you help your child keep up with it all and stay healthy?
Well, we're here to help, the Fit Kids 4 Life program, started in 2009 is a six-week program designed to teach children and their parents how to eat healthier and exercise more.
Each Fit Kids 4 Life session lasts an hour and includes an exercise session, and a nutrition education component . The low cost ($0-$5 per session covers both parent(s) and child) program connects Delaware Valley youths and their parents to health professionals from the area.
Although every Fit Kids 4 Life program is different here are some topics generally covered Topics & Exercises:

- How to Read Food Labels: We'll help your child(ren) learn what nutrients are in their favorite dishes, and simple ways they can make healthier choices.
- Sugar Addiction: We'll help your child and the rest of the family cut back on sweets, by showing you some healthy and tasty alternatives.
- Kickboxing: We'll kick start you and your child's energy with high energy exercises such as kickboxing.
- Hands-on instruction on how children can make healthier snacks
- Parents will learn more about healthier meals they can prepare for the family.
