CEFN is very pround of its partnerships with area universities with fulfilling its mission to help fight obesity and chronic degenetive diseases in disenfranchise communities.
The CEFN's program at these local universities have contributed significantly to the growth and development of CEFN's program offerings. Some of the discplnes the students major in are the following: Accounting/finance, TV production assistant, Communications, Public Relations Assistant, Social Work assiatant, Event Planner, Entreprenurship, Business Adminstration and Volunteer Coordinator. Students receive hands on traning with developing budgets, and financial statements, writing business plans and grants, developing marketing plans, writing articles and press releases, and doing social work assessments and reaseements for home-bound elderly and disabled clients discharged from being hospitalized. The students receive valuable real working experience and CEFN receive valuable growth and development opportunities. |
