The nutrition awareness sessions were very educational. I particularly enjoyed the Gospel Line Dance sessions. It was ideal for beginners. This type of program is needed in the community. I look forward to signing up again.

I will continue to pay attention to portions, drink plenty of water, as well as pay attention to body signals related to hungry emotions.

I need to be more responsible for what I put into my body. For the body is the template of the Holy Spirit.

I started the program in May 2007. I am happy to report that I have lost 47 pounds. I have made a complete lifestyle change. I eat mostly a plant based diet. I have stopped drinking soda and eating junk food. I drink lots of water, walk, and I also participate in Gospel Line Dance. It has been an awesome journey.

I want to thank the connecting body, soul and spirit staff for bringing health and fitness program to the Sansom House. The seniors enjoyed learning how to properly prepare nutritious and delicious meals. We also enjoyed the chair exercises. It was a lot of fun and we used muscles we had not used in a long time. I pray that the blessings upon Sherry and the staff will excel. I hope that the program will continue to travel with churches, senior homes and other facilities that may need.
